Cork is naturally anti-microbial which means it resists the growth of mould, germs and bacteria.
If you do wish to clean your mat, wipe it down with a wet cloth after every practice and allow to air dry fully before rolling up or storing.
For a deeper clean, you can use a natural yoga mat cleaner, or a mixture of water-vinegar-essentials oils, Avoid any harsh chemicals.
Always allow the mat to dry fully before storing away. Roll it up with the cork facing out.
Keep out of direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time to avoid discoloration or degeneration of the natural materials.
