Cork is naturally anti-microbial which means it resists the growth of mould, germs and bacteria.

If you do wish to clean your mat, wipe it down with a wet cloth after every practice and allow to air dry fully before rolling up or storing.

For a deeper clean, you can use a natural yoga mat cleaner, or a mixture of water-vinegar-essentials oils, Avoid any harsh chemicals.

Always allow the mat to dry fully before storing away. Roll it up with the cork facing out.

Keep out of direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time to avoid discoloration or degeneration of the natural materials.

This mat is gorgeous! The gold shimmer is difficult to see in pictures. It’s subtle, but so lovely. I have used it in hot yoga and find no difference in the grip when compared to other cork mats. The thickness is perfect and there is no smell. The cork is soft and naturally absorbent so no need for a yoga towel on top, unless you prefer one. Love it and highly recommend!

Looks much better in real life - very cute mat. Could be a bit grippier when in contact with socks or yoga towels, but has good grip on bare hands & feet and I enjoy it.

Generally, we would recommend using our cork mats without yoga towels: cork is made to be grippy with moisture and tends to do better without yoga towels or socks.

I truly exceptional yoga mat

OK, listen to me when I tell you that this is one of the best yoga mats I’ve ever used in my life. I love it and I have another one similar to it, but I like that. I now have two because one I can keep in my car and when I can keep at home. It’s so soft And there have been times when I have tried using just the floor to do any kind of stretching, and when I got on this thing the other day, I realize how huge of a mistake that has been for me to be trying to do that. This thing changes the game and I definitely recommended. I love that it looks like a corkboard. I love that it comes with a macramé holder, and I definitely want to say that if you were looking at this item, you will not be disappointed.
